On the trip to the Grand Canyon we stayed in Sedona, Williams,  and Tusayan, AZ.

We spent one night at the Canyon Motel & RV Park in Williams.
One of the train cars that has been turned into a motel room.

The RV part of the park was deserted. Late September early October seems like a perfect time to be there. Beautiful weather, and no crowds.

Make sure you stop in at the Williams Visitor Center. It's right when you enter the town. You can't miss it.

This is also the area to catch the train to the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Railway.
An old steam tractor, and locomotive on display in Williams.
A couple of shots of downtown Williams.
Donna making friends in Williams.
Williams was the last town on Route 66 to be by-passed by the Interstate.

Every year Williams has a Classic Car Show, come and watch the cars cruise the loop.
A few shots of the Grand Canyon's south rim.

When visiting the Grand Canyon, the IMAX Theater, and Visitor Center in Tusayan, is a must do.
Bright Angel trail.
Kobe & I just outside of the El Tovar Hotel.
Kobe was the only dog we saw in this area, and he sure got a lot of attention. It seems most had to leave their pups at home, and needed a dog fix. Kobe was more than happy to oblige. :)
We spent the last night at the Bell Rock Lodge in Sedona.
