Quickie Flush

2002 Roadtrek's had two black water tanks, an interior, and an exterior. (lower)
I could use a wand to clean the upper tank. (through the toilet) but never had a good way to flush the lower tank. I solved that by installing the Quickie Flush.
It's quite easy, just follow the directions on the package.
This was shot laying under the Rt looking up  at the lower black tank. The Quickie Flush was installed in the upper rear of the tank Really the only option I had.
I used a 11/8 inch hole saw, which removes the piece that's cut out. I didn't want anything falling into the tank and possibly getting jammed in the valve.

I mounted the hose connector to the battery box support, and added a quick connect hose adapter. I really couldn't see a good way to run the hose underneath the van to the driver side, which is where the dump hose is located. No big deal, I just run the hose around to the Quickie Flush.
To clean out the tank just hook the hose to the Quickie Flush open the black tank valve, turn on the water, sit back and wait for it to do it's thing.
