water pump.  Model R4525-743

This pump is very quiet during low water demands, but gets louder as water demand increases.  It's still quieter than the stock Shurflo.

There is no  pulsating, so I can now get a steady stream of water from my Pur water filter!

Pretty straight forward install.  Remove the old one, and mount the new one horizontally instead of vertically. (190 P)

Make sure you mount the end with the motor a little higher  than the end with the connectors. If  there is ever a leak you dont want it to run into  the motor.

I cut off the old fittings, and put in brass barbed bibs for the water connections. I had to heat the pipe with a hair dryer to soften it up enough to get the new connectors in.  I then had to use a piece of wood, and a hammer  to seat them. I'm using hose clamps on the brass bibs , but will replace them with compression rings.

The round piece on top is the strainer, and the box to the right houses the EMI filter.
